WebI'm currently looking into the Sager NP8652 (Clevo P650SG). It has a GTX 980m and is currently at a killer price of only $1560 on xoticpc, which is like $500-$600 cheaper than most laptop with the same spec. This is also why I'm being skeptical, because it seems to good to be true. I intend to use it for college work and occasional gaming.

WebUnfortunately the truth is that even LCDs can have after-images that seem like burn-in. As far as I know it's not the same as the burn-in as plasma display or OLED where it's pretty much permanent. An LCD can recover somewhat. Cycle through some flat colours for a while, use the monitor's built-in calibration if it has it. That may help.
