WebApr 29, 2016 · Hi all - trying to fit a water butt by cutting into the plastic downpipe to fit the diverter, but the bottom of the downpipe is cemented into paving stones so I can't slide it down. I've tried to twist it, tapped it with a mallet etc. but it won't shift. Is there any way to do this without getting a new downpipe fitted?
